How does plant magic want to fit into your life?
^ that right there was a Freudian* slip. I meant to type "How do you want plant magic to fit into your life?" but I left the first version, because it is much more true & accurate.
Because plant magic isn't about us.
I mean, sure, I work with plant magic to create the life I want, to make things happen that I want to happen. But plant magic doesn't work when we make it all about us.
Plant magic is at its best when we're asking what we can do for the plants and moving forward from there.
A few days ago I posted a video in which I tell the story of how I used plant magic to find the land for Locust Light. The reason why that magic worked so well -- the key ingredient -- was that I told the plants, with all the force of my heart, how my request would serve them. I promised to listen, to care for them, to honor them. To teach others how to do the same.
Take a moment to tune into the plant world around you, and ask "How does your magic want to take shape in my life?"
and truly listen to the answer.
You can learn everything you need to know about plant magic from the plants themselves. You don't need me to be involved in the process at all.
