Plants teach us how to notice.
THEY TEACH US HOW TO SLOW DOWN AND ACCEPT WHERE WE ARE IN THIS MOMENT.
Using the garden as our inspiration, this class is an experiment in being present. This mindfulness is a beautiful invitation to recognize and honor our connection to the earth.
This workshop is for anyone who has dreamt of a plant, been haunted by a garden or grove in the forest, or used an herbal remedy. If you have any inkling of curiosity about the magic of plants, this is a great place to start.
This class is taught by Cathlin Star Walker.
SATURDAY, JUNE 22ND

Taught by Cathlin Star Walker
Cathlin Star Walker is queer feminist crazy plant lady. A trained health coach, she is currently on a writing sabbatical exploring the intersection of plant medicine, mindfulness, ecology and capitalism. Her work is based upon the tenet that our worth is inherent in our existence. You can find her at https://cathlinstar.com/.
This class is held in the Apothecary Garden at Locust Light Farm. To get to the garden, wind your way all the way up to the top of the property, following signs for "The Farm Cooking School." Park in the lot beside the building. Walk straight back to the end of the parking lot, past the high tunnel. You’ll see the garden in front of you.
