Gnomes are around us all the time.
THERE’S A PART OF US THAT KNOWS GNOMES ARE THERE, MAKING MISCHIEF AND CONNECTING US TO THE LAND BUT EVEN IF WE BELIEVE, IN OUR HEARTS, IT CAN BE HARD TO REACH THEM.
And if we were to reach them, then what?
Autumnal Equinox is a time when gnomes are gathering their stores and helping the forest to prepare for winter. They are encouraging the fungi and relaying message back and forth among the trees. This is a time when is is especially easy for us humans to align our energy with the energy of the gnomes — it’s a good time for us to connect with them.
In this magical class, we will:
Explore the connection between gnomes and the natural world
Learn what lessons gnomes have to teach us
Sip a hearty mushroom chai and munch on a gnome delicacy
Learn ways of reaching out to gnomes
Connect with gnomes with a meditation
Explore how gnomes can inform our herbalism and healing practices
Celebrate with a gnome banquet
Make a hearty gnome oxymel to take home

CLASS LOCATION
This class is are held in the Locust Light Apothecary Garden. To get to the garden, wind your way all the way up to the top of the property, following signs for "The Farm Cooking School." Park in the lot beside the building and walk straight back past the high tunnels.
Please dress appropriately for the weather.
