“is this for me?” Herbs For Living FAQ
Lots of people have been reaching out with questions about Herbs for Living, and I'm thrilled that y'all are excited!
The question I've been asked the most is this: "Is this right for me based on my experience level?"
Obviously, I can't answer this without getting in-depth info from you. But I can do my best.
I created Herbs for Living for the following people:
Totally beginner herbalists
Intermediate herbalists (folks who've taken a few herbal courses, including foundational level courses)
Herbalists who've had advanced herbal training but haven't worked with herbs energetically/magically/spiritually
Herbs for Living will be a combo of medicinal herbalism that's good for beginners but will still contain new info for people who've studied a bit. It will also be filled with info that's not strictly medicinal, such as how to put together a care package for someone who's grieving, how to make AMAZING herbal mocktails, what to put on a work-from-home altar to enhance your focus, etc.
It goes beyond what you'd learn in a foundational herbal course and applies herbalism to the things you actually go through in life.
You know, like preparing for family holiday events or coming home from a meeting feeling angry. Or dredging up old resentments so you can release them or pulling forth the courage to set a boundary with your in-laws/landlord/neighbor who really can't take a hint.
Now that I'm writing more about this, I realize that Herbs for Living will be more like herbalism meets self-help, with a flair of plant magic.
If that's something you're into, join me!
I've listed each class below so you can get a sense of what we'll be covering.
I'll be here making adjustments to my work-from-home altar.
P.S. The first class is Herbs for Boundaries. Because boundaries are foundational to a happy life. Need help in this area?
