do you wake feeling rested?

When I was studying with David Winston, there were a few phrases he drilled into us.

The first, most important one, was "Herbalists treat people, not diseases."

Next was the question "Do you wake feeling rested?"

This is one of the most important questions in determining health.

Sleep is foundational to your health. It's far more important than herbs.

I know that you know this. But it's hard, isn't it?

When I teach classes about sleep, I spend time trying to convince people to prioritize it.

Prioritizing sleep often means rearranging your daily schedule, setting boundaries (e.g. figure out how to keep the cat out of your beddroom), and watching fewer shows (sorry.)

But what if you've done all that you can to prioritize sleep, and it's still not working?

That's where herbs come in.

I don't want to say "Herbs can help!" because the truth is, herbs might be able to help. There also might be more going on, and you might need more advanced help.

But if you want to try something before you see a sleep specialist, herbs are a good option. They are also more affordable, less invasive, and typically have beneficial "side-effects."

If you can't attend a local class, I offer an online "Herbs for Rest" class that's very comprehensive.

Of course, my deepest wish for you is that sleep isn't an issue at all for you, and this whole email is irrelevant to your life. If that's the case, I've got some fun mocktails classes listed below -- come party with me!

P.S. This is the best book for helpful sleep strategies. It's a short listen!
