Herbs for Stress & Anxiety - Evening Class

This is the seventh class in series “Practical Herbalism: Remedies and Techniques for Everyday Wellness.”

Stress and anxiety is complex. It can be chronic and acute, situational, environmental, or stemming from an experience deep in your past. There is no one solution for managing stress and anxiety, but herbs can be a helpful tool in your toolbox. 

Herbs can offer a multi-dimensional approach to treating stress and anxiety. In this class, we will:

  • Learn about adaptogens and nervines and how they both work to manage stress & anxiety

  • Look closely at specific herbs that address these imbalances

  • Learn about flower essences and blend a flower essence to take home.

The Evening Series is held on Tuesday nights from 7-9pm.

The series is designed so that each class builds on the skills learned in the previous classes. You can also take the classes a la carte. There is a discount for signing up for the entire series.

This class will be held in the Apothecary Garden and the kitchen of The Farm Cooking School. Both are located at the top of the property. Continue straight up the drive and wind all the way up the hill until you reach the gravel parking lot beside the market building. Park in the parking lot, and enter the red building. 

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for being in the garden and harvesting herbs.
